Japanese modification of the M201 self-propelled 203 mm howitzer with a 39.5 caliber barrel length. The howitzer has a hydraulically operated loading mechanism (elevator and follower), which is powered by the vehicle's common hydraulic system. The low rate of fire is compensated for by the high damage of the gun's high-explosive shells.
