This version received the General Electric F110-GE-129 engine with increased thrust over the entire altitude range. In addition, the aircraft received updated avionics, as well as improved in all characteristics radar with SNP mode, a large number of countermeasures, an advanced SPO and helmet-mounted targeting system.
